What does Empire Global Sourcing do?

Empire Global Sourcing is a trade brokerage based in Toronto, Canada. We connect North American businesses with vetted suppliers and buyers worldwide across four categories: auto components and EV parts, agri-tech and farm mechanization, renewable energy equipment, and critical minerals and EV supply chain.

What does it cost to work with Empire Global Sourcing?

A flat 3 to 4% of whatever the deal closes at. Nothing upfront, no retainer, no minimum. If a deal does not close, you pay nothing.

Do you work with buyers, sellers, or both?

Both. We source for North American buyers, and we find North American buyers for companies selling into the market. Every deal has two sides and we will work either one.

Where are you based and which markets do you serve?

We are based in Toronto, Canada, and serve North America and select global markets.

How is a sourcing broker different from an online marketplace or supplier directory?

A directory hands you 400 names and leaves the qualifying to you. We check partners first, make one introduction, and stay with the negotiation until it closes. There is a person on our end the whole way through.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

You tell us the product, quantity and market you're targeting. We tap our network to find qualified, credible partners on the other side of the deal, then connect you directly with a warm introduction and negotiation support. You close the deal and build the relationship.

What is black mass, and do you broker it?

Black mass is the shredded, processed remains of lithium-ion batteries, containing lithium, nickel, cobalt and graphite in mixed form. Yes, we broker it, along with end-of-life EV packs, battery production scrap and non-ferrous streams. We work the recycling side of the battery supply chain rather than primary mined concentrate.

Do you source products outside your four listed categories?

Sometimes. We take new categories case by case. Tell us the product and the market you are after and we will say whether it is a fit before either of us spends time on it.
